CNC Machined Alloy Steel Bushing for the Aerospace Industry
Accurate Threaded Products excels in precision aerospace machining. This CNC machined bushing is designed to be used in aerospace engines. The bushing is machined from AMS 5662 Inconel alloy to extremely tight tolerances of ±0.0005". This combination of difficult to machine material and tight tolerances exemplifies Accurate Threaded Product’s strong suits. The bushing is machined on our CNC turning and vertical milling centers, ground with a Brown & Sharpe OD grinder, heat treated, and cleaned via ultrasonic cleaning. The finished piece measures 2.2075" in diameter by 1.170" long and has a surface finish of 63 RMA. Parts are inspected for dimensional tolerance and tested for hardness before release to the customer. Our quality management systems are ISO 9001:2008 and AS9100C certified and we offer a variety of secondary services designed to meet customers’ needs.
